STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO CREATE ABC ID (Academic Bank of Credits ID)
The Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID is mandatory for students as per UGC guidelines. Follow the steps below carefully to create your ABC ID successfully.
Before You Begin Keep the following ready: ✔ Aadhaar Card ✔ Aadhaar-linked Mobile Number ✔ Active Mobile Number & Email ID ✔ Student details such as College Name and Course
Step 1: Visit the Official Website Open the official ABC portal: https://www.abc.gov.in
Step 2: Student Login / Sign Up • Click on “My Account” or “Student” • Select “Sign Up” if you are a new user
Step 3: Aadhaar Verification • Enter your Aadhaar Number • Click on Generate OTP • Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number
Step 4: Fill Personal Details Enter the required details carefully: • Full Name (as per Aadhaar) • Date of Birth • Gender • Mobile Number • Email ID
Step 5: Create Login Credentials • Create a Username • Set a strong Password • Confirm the Password
Step 6: Academic Details Fill in your educational information: • Institution / College Name • University Name • Course / Program Name • Admission Year
Step 7: Submit & Generate ABC ID • Review all details carefully • Click on Submit • Your ABC ID will be generated successfully
Step 8: Download ABC ID Card • Download the ABC ID card • Save a PDF copy or take a screenshot for future reference
