EVENT : Christmas Bash

The Department of Mass Media, organized its annual event Christmas Bash, a week full of joy of giving and sharing love. This event was celebrated for two days i.e. on 22 nd & 24 th December, 2019, with our most enthusiastic students. The event started with a bang. On 22 nd December, 2019, we had gone to an orphanage, where students and teachers not only donated gifts and food but also celebrated Christmas with them by cutting a cake. On 24 th December, 2019 it was a full day event where since morning we were celebrating the birth of Christ by singing carols, having dance performances, etc. Later in the evening the bash took place that was filled with fun and thrill. The bash had food, fun and dance in a nutshell. We ended it with a Bash!

EVENT : Nirmala's Got Talent

On the 10th of January, 2020, Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce & Science conducted "NIRMALA'S GOT TALENT" in the college premises . The program was conducted with the focus of encouraging our students to comeforth and show case their talents. The various events included therein were :

  • Cultural - Dance, Singing,
  • Fine Arts events like Rangoli, Mehendi, Nail Art, Tattoo making, Dessert Making,
  • Literary events - Play with words, Just a Minute,
  • Management Games- Sudoku, Treasure Hunt
  • Media events - Photography, Short Film making, Ad Mad Show

The students participated with great enthusiasm and won prizes in each category. The list of winners are :

EVENT : Friendship day and chocolate day report

Friendship day and chocolate day report

Cultural Committee celebrated Friendship Day and Chocolate day on 16th August 2019  for Degree College students with great enthusiasm, fun fare, music and dance. Students presented chocolates to  each which depicted their friendship, Dance competition was held for the students who were selected from the semi final round conducted  on 13th August 2019. The judges for the dance competition were the founders of Nupur Dance Academy, Mrs Heena S. Sanghvi and Mrs. Hetal D Shah. They are masters in various dance forms like Bharat Natyam, Folk Dance and Western Dances. 15 students performed in the competition which comprised of various forms like classical, hip hop, bollywood, lavni, Folk Dance and so on. Audience enjoyed all the performances. Judges were highly impressed with the talent of all participants and had a tough time selecting the winners. The judges also performed for the students and motivated them.
