The Department of Commerce, in collaboration with the Revive Heart Foundation, organized a workshop on “Awareness and Training on Medical Emergencies” on Friday, 19th September 2025, in the college auditorium. The primary objective of the workshop was to equip students with essential life-saving skills, particularly in recognizing the signs of cardiac arrest and responding effectively through Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The session was highly informative and interactive, providing students with practical demonstrations and hands-on training to build confidence in handling emergency situations. Around 180 students actively participated in the workshop, making it a valuable learning experience that emphasized the importance of timely medical preparedness in saving lives.
