The Department of Computer Science, Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce and Science (Autonomous), organized an Alumni Session on “Sports Analytics: Transforming Performance Through Data” for B.Sc. Computer Science students on 11th August 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Mini Auditorium, Room No. 706.The session was conducted by esteemed alumnus Mr. Ayush Shah (M.Sc. IT, Batch 2021–22), who introduced students to the emerging field of Sports Analytics and its applications in performance evaluation, data visualization, statistical analysis, and strategic decision-making.Through practical examples and industry insights, students learned how data can be used to analyse player performance, identify patterns, support team strategies, and improve decision-making. The session also highlighted the skills and career opportunities available in this growing field.An interactive discussion allowed students to explore the connection between computer science, data analytics, and the sports industry.
