The Master of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) is a comprehensive postgraduate programme designed to provide advanced knowledge and specialized expertise in the fields of accounting, finance, taxation, auditing, and financial management. The programme integrates advanced theoretical frameworks with practical applications to ensure students gain in-depth knowledge of financial systems, corporate reporting, strategic financial management, and regulatory frameworks with key subjects like subjects such as Advanced Financial Accounting, Advanced Cost and Management Accounting, Financial Derivatives and Commodities Market, Strategic Financial Management, and Taxation – I (Corporate Direct Tax), along with emerging areas like Wealth Management, Risk Management, and Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection.  Teaching methodologies include case-based learning, research projects, seminars, presentations, and interactive discussions. Guest lectures by industry experts, workshops, and professional development sessions further enrich the learning experience. Students are also encouraged to undertake internships, fieldwork, and dissertation projects to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and professional practice.
