SWAYAM platform is World’s Largest Online Free E-Learning Platform Portal designed to achieve the three cardinal principles of Education Policy viz., Access, Equity and Quality by covering School/Vocational, Under-Graduate, Post Graduate, Engineering and Other Professional Courses. It is initiated by Ministry of Human Resource Development (Govt. of India). Conents are produced and delivered in the form of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) prepared by the nine National Coordinators namely NPTEL, UGC, CEC, AICTE IGNOU, IIMB, NCERT, NIOS & NITTR. These courses are available for free to all the learners.

Steps to register for swayam courses :

1.First step to get access to courses is to register yourself with swyam portal. For that visit https://swayam.gov.in.

2.Register through Google if you have Gmail account (preferrable) or go for SIGN UP NOW. You will reach your profile page.

a.Start filling your personal details – username, password, confirm password and email id.
b.A verification code will be sent on the email id.
c.Enter the received verification code.
d.Once the code is verified, your account will be created.

3.Again visit https://swayam.gov.in, sign in with your registered email id.

4.Click on All Courses or put a search in Course catalogue. This Swayam URL from course list will take you to course information page.

5.We can filter a list of courses according to categogory (such as Engineering and Technology, Humanities, Laws,Maths and Science, Commerce. etc.,)

6.Select course, Once the course contents are displayed, click on the red JOIN button.

7.All selected courses will be listed in your account. You can check it under “My Course”.
