In association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), the Research Cell organized a Students Research Paper Presentation Competition titled “Divulging into the World of Research” on Thursday, 29th August 2024. There were 20 groups of students from various programs, like BMS B.Com (Accounting and Finance), B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.Sc. (Information Technology). The judge for the day was Dr. Manisha Divate, Faculty, Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Arts, Science. Students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The idea was to inculcate research aptitude among the students, allow them to present their innovative ideas on various research topics, and participate in the Aavishkar (Research Paper Presentation Competition) at the University of Mumbai.

On the occasion of World Organ Donation Day, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce and Science in association with the Inner Wheel Club of Bombay Kandivali successfully organized a comprehensive seminar on Skin and Organ donation on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 11:00 AM in Block No. 510.The seminar aimed to create awareness about the significance of stem cell donation and its potential to save lives. A distinguished guest speaker Mr. Navin Vazirani from the National Burns Center graced the occasion with their invaluable insights and expertise on skin donation. The seminar proved to be highly informative and engaging, with participants showing keen interest in the topic. Students had the opportunity to ask questions to the guest speaker, resulting in an engaging and informative discussion.The IQAC and the Inner Wheel Club of Bombay Kandivali extend their sincere gratitude to the guest speaker for their enlightening presentation and to all participants for their enthusiastic participation. This event marks a significant step towards promoting stem cell donation as a noble cause and fostering a compassionate society.
Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce and Science basked in the glow of academic brilliance as it felicitated the toppers of the academic year 2023-2024. The ceremony was a grand celebration of intellectual prowess, hard work, and dedication. The event was held on Saturday, 10th August, 2024 at 12:00 noon in the Mini Auditorium (Block No. 706). The occasion was graced with the presence of Honourable Director Mrs. Aruna Desai and the members of the management, as well as the Principal and Vice Principal. As the names of the top performers were announced, the hall erupted in applause, acknowledging the remarkable achievements of these young minds. The top performers were given cash awards and certificates for their achievements. Principal, Dr. Swiddle D’cunha in an inspiring address, lauded the students for their exceptional performance. She emphasized the importance of consistent hard work, discipline, and a thirst for knowledge. The ceremony was a platform not just for recognition but also for motivation. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized an “E-Literacy” program on Saturday, 20 th April 2024 from 08.00 am to 09.00 am to train the Non-Teaching staff members of the college. The primary objective was to adapt digital platforms for various routine activities and to promote digital literacy in this digital world. During the session, the fundamentals of operating computers and electronic devices were taught along with using online payment applications were discussed with their pros and cons in depth. The training program was held with an amazing response of 25 tech enthusiastic non-teaching staff members.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell in association with The Art of Living organized a rejuvenating yoga training program for non-teaching staff members on Friday, April 19, 2024. The event held in Block No. 211, aimed to promote physical well-being and reduce stress through a series of yoga exercises, breathing techniques, and meditation practices. With an overwhelming response, 30 enthusiastic non-teaching staff members participated in the event, eager to prioritize their health and well-being. Led by experienced yoga instructors Ms. Jignasa Pandya, Art of Living Meditation Coach. As the session concluded, non-teaching staff left with a sense of accomplishment and a commitment to incorporating yoga and mindfulness practices into their daily routines.

Objectives of the Seminar
With the aim to achieve the goals of sustainable development in an environment-friendly manner, it is inevitable to go for paperless and digital administration. Digital Technology can be used for sharing and diffusion of knowledge . The seminar will provide insights on recent developments in the field of digital libraries, a brief account of Indian efforts to establish digital libraries, It will also discuss efforts made by university and institutional libraries to transition from traditional to computerised, and ultimately, digital or hybrid, libraries.This seminar will provide a brief overview of the planning, designing, development guidelines for designing, characteristics, achievements, services, resources, maintenance, responsibility, role of the librarian, strategies, definition, need, purpose, and function of library digitization, as well as its benefits and drawbacks.The benefit of digitalization will increase productivity, reduce cost, the benefit of working remotely, enhanced improved customer service, disaster protection and tackle the challenge of global warming.

Sessions I and II
The virtual seminar began with Session I Commencement helmed by the Speaker Dr. B Sutradhar, IIT Kharagpur. He gave edifying glimpses into vital elements like the NDLI Club and its functioning and procedures as well as the NDLI Repository.
Dr. Sutradhar guided the audience into the right path to integrating the advantages and scope of digital libraries for overall growth and betterment as per NEP 2020 mandates as well. He advocated the setting up of learning activity-based clubs and organising learning activities by learners with the help of faculties.Post lunch break, Speaker Mr. Sanjay Sakpal commenced by hosting Session II, which was Navigating through Digital Library and Creating Digital Repository. It was a highly enriching session as Mr.Sakpal gave realistic guidelines and tips that all, including learners, involved in the ecosystem of digital libraries can engage in for spreading and sharing knowledge.

Valedictory and Expression of Appreciations
Upon completion of the paper presentations, Guest of Honour, Dr. Manoj Kumar, INFLIBNET, Gandhinagar Scientist led the valedictory Function. He summed up the day’s learning, and urged everyone to incorporate the valuable tips gathered in the course of the session.
Ms.Avis D’Cunha offered the Vote of Thanks, which marked the culmination of the highly informative, engaging and valuable Indian Council of Social Science Research (WRC) organised session. Thus a total of 77 Participants benefited from the program.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Department of Commerce of Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce and Science, in collaboration with Andhra Loyola College and the University of Mumbai, organized a 5-Day National Level Faculty Development Program on "Globalization Unleashed: Advancing Commerce and Management Education" from February 13th to 17th, 2024. Nearly 250 participants from across India attended the program.
With the aim of upgrading faculty members' knowledge in today's digital era. The program addressed the significant transformations in education brought about by the digital era. Faculty members received insights into modern teaching methods and innovative pedagogy techniques, empowering them to adapt to the changing educational environment. Additionally, the program provided guidance on making investment financial decisions, equipping educators with essential knowledge for personal and professional growth in today's digital age.
Each day of the program featured distinguished speakers sharing their expertise:
Day 1: Ms. Yukti Gala, a certified financial planner and vice president of Skyes & Ray Edupro Company, has demystified Financial Planning and explained Mutual Funds in a way that equips participants with the knowledge needed to make well-informed investment choices, paving the way for financial success.
Day 2: Dr. CH. Varalakshmi, Assistant Professor of Andhra Loyola College, explored the paradigm shift in business education in the digital era, aiding participants in adapting to evolving industry trends and enhancing their skills for modern professional challenges.
Day 3: Mr. Jeetender Peswani, CFA charterholder, delved into the Art of Picking Stocks, providing participants with valuable insights and strategies to make informed investment decisions for maximizing returns in the financial markets.
Day 4:Ms. Monika Bansal, Director of Punjab University Rural Center, delved into Modern Teaching Methodologies in Commerce, equipping participants with innovative approaches to enhance learning experiences and prepare students for contemporary challenges in the field of commerce.
Day 5: Dr. Kanchan Datt, Associate Professor and Head of the Department at Shailendra College, examined Recent Trends in Advertising, providing participants with insights to navigate and leverage the dynamic landscape of contemporary advertising for effective communication and brand impact.
The sessions provided valuable insights and practical knowledge to enhance the faculty members' teaching capabilities and adapt to the evolving landscape of commerce and management education in the digital age.
The IQAC, Research cell and IPR cell organised a webinar on IPR Awareness in collaboration with the National IP Awareness Mission. Ms. Jaspreet Kaur was invited as a Resource Person and around 50 students benefited by the webinar. The resource person highlighted the relevance of IPR in today competitive market, the importance of filing patents etc. The session was highly appreciated by the students, as it not only enhanced their awareness but also provided them with practical insights that can be applied in their academic pursuits and future careers. The steps to file the patents was also explained in detail.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce and Science held a Parent Teacher Meeting on Saturday, 03rd February, 2024 for First Year and Second Year learners of all programs. The objective of the meeting was to establish a warm connection with learners parents with a view to enhancing education and holistic development of their
wards mutually. The meeting commenced in the assigned classrooms at 10.15 a.m. Faculty members welcomed the parents and presented a PowerPoint presentation, which summarised all the events, facilities, achievements and
services being offered to the learners. All relevant details concerning the curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities in every sphere- including lectures, infrastructure, committees, examinations, Placement and other areas were displayed for the parents. Parents were encouraged to raise queries and interact with the faculty members. They showed an enthusiastic response in the interactions, and also provided suggestions. As the meeting drew to a close, parents were requested to submit their feedback about the curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that the college offers.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college organized a highly insightful and impactful workshop on Stress Management titled "Navigating Stress: Tools for a Balanced Life" on Wednesday, 11th October, 2023. The event aimed to equip all staff members with effective strategies to manage and navigate stress in their professional and personal lives. Dr. Harish Shetty (MBBS, MD, DPM, DCM), a renowned expert in the field of psychology and stress management, conducted the workshop. His extensive experience and expertise in the subject made him the perfect choice to guide our staff through the intricacies of stress management. The workshop comprised interactive sessions that encourage active participation from all attendees. Dr. Shetty engaged the staff in discussions and provided real-world examples, making the learning experience engaging and relatable. The Stress Management Workshop provided all the staff members valuable tools to navigate the challenges of everyday life, ultimately contributing to a healthier and more balanced work environment. A total of 69 teaching and 10 Non- Teaching Staff benefited from the event.
The IQAC of the college organised a seminar on "Meditation and Willpower Techniques" on Thursday, 5th October 2023 in Mini auditorium of the college. Around 70 students attended the seminar. The session was interactive and started with understanding the reasons for the stress. Further, Dr. Harish showed various physical and mindful techniques to reduce the stress. At the end, students raised their question and the same was answered by the resource person.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college organized a reading competition in regional language titled "REDO - METER" on Wednesday, 27th September 2023 at 11:30 a.m. in Block No. 510. Total number of students registered and participated for the competition were 32. One of the most heartwarming aspects of the competition was the camaraderie among the participants. There was an overwhelming sense of support and encouragement. The reading competition was a celebration of literature and a testament to the power of words.
With an aim to promote green campus and protect the environment, the Nature’s Club in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college undertook “Go Green Project”. As a part of this project each class and their mentor planted atleast of three and a maximum of five plants (of which one plant is medicinal plant) in their classroom windows. The plants care is the responsibility of the class mentor and students.A committee was appointed who weekly visited the class and monitored the plants.The class that presented the best medicinal plants and nurtured it well was given the first prize. The winning class was This activity took place from Monday, 14 th August, 2023. The result of the best class was declared on Wednesday, 27th September, 2023 . The winning class at First position was FYBSc IT B division. Second position was FYB.Com A division and atThird position was FYBMS B division. Keeping in mind the objective of going green campus the IQAC announced that the activity will be an on Going Project for the college.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college organised a workshop on "Sound Therapy: Enhancing Well-being and Stress Reduction" for staff members. The workshop was scheduled on Tuesday, 29th August, 2023 from 11: 30 am to 1: 30 pm in the college auditorium.The Guest Speaker was Ms. Prathama Nemane, a Professional Sound Therapist and Healer.
The Learning Outcome of the workshop : The speaker shared various Dimensions of wellness. Practical demonstrations on sound therapy were given.Interactive discussions on meditation gave insights on its importance to the staff.Thus the workshop provided valuable insights and practical skills that can contribute to a more positive and balanced work environment.
A total of 39 staff members attended the session.

There were ten groups of students from various programmes, like BMS, B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.Sc. (Information Technology). The judges for the day were Dr. Swapnali Lotlikar, faculty from Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Arts, Science and Commerce and Dr. Neha Goel. Students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The best three groups were awarded certificates and will get an opportunity to participate in the Aavishkar (Research Paper Presentation Competition) at the University of Mumbai. The idea was to inculcate research aptitude among the students and give them an opportunity to present their innovative ideas on various research topics.
The Research Cell in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college organized a National Level Webinar titled “Development of Research Instrument” on Saturday, 12th August, 2023 from 11.30 am to 1.00 pm. The resource person for the day was Dr. Sunil Budhiraja, Assistant Professor, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. The resource person gave insight on research terminologies, types of research, research process, types of research instruments, scaling concepts, construct development and validation and psychometrics of a construct. Total number of participants were 202 belonging to various states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Telangana, Delhi, etc. The participants have learned about the various research instruments that can be used while undertaking the research work.
Aayushmaan Social Wellness Foundation has a MOU with Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce and Science from 2020 – 2023. The objective of MOU is to conduct various social activities together and sensitize students towards various social issues. ASWF and NMFC have carried out social activities like Skit on social issues, Dental Checkup camp, Webinar on Gardening etc.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college organised a workshop Har Ghar Dhyaan, a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by the Ministry of Culture through Art of Living.The workshop was held on Monday, 3rd April, 2023 at 11.00 a.m. at 706 mini auditorium. The resource person is Ms. Jignasa Pandya, the Art of Living Meditation Coach.In this session, learners learnt about how to develop inner strength and resilience through meditation, and tips for incorporating meditation in daily routine for a healthy lifestyle.A total of 59 students benefited from the program.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell in association with Revive Heart Foundation, had organized a workshop on “Awareness and Training on Sudden Cardiac Arrest Resuscitation” on Saturday, 25th March, 2023, from 10:30 am in the college auditorium. The session was conducted by Ms. Sumaiya Raghavan and her team, a certified trainer on First Aid heart saving. The workshop was conducted by experienced trainers who have in-depth knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques. During the workshop, participants learn how to assess the situation and how to provide immediate care to the patient . This includes understanding how to check for breathing, pulse, and other vital signs. A sum of 120 students, 28 staff members and 12 non teaching staff members benefited from the program.
Parent Teacher Meetings are a valuable forum that connects parents with learners' teachers and mentors. Understandably, parents are keen to know about their wards' progress and what measures can be taken by them jointly with the college authorities and teachers for the overall development of the wards. As is the tradition observed diligently every year, Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce and Science conducted a PTM on Friday, 24 February, 2023. Parents had been intimated well in advance about the date, time, venue and agenda of the meeting so they could accommodate the PTM conveniently. Bridging the GapThe aim was to have a maximum number of parents at the college for interaction and apprise parents of the latest developments at the campus. The PTM was also the right occasion to showcase the opportunities, facilities and guidance that the college has been providing to learners since the beginning of the Academic Year. While every information, big or simple, is conveyed to learners through the right channels, chances are that learners may not be able to share some intimations with parents.Learners had some queries and reservations about the intention of the PTM. They were assured that the main purpose of the meeting is to connect with the parents, give them important information about the scope of courses being offered, examination, admission procedure and very importantly, about the plethora of options, including Placements, that learners can benefit from extensively.
CONDUCT OF THE PTM
The PTM was conducted by respective Class Mentors in blocks allotted division-wise. A PowerPoint Presentation was shown to the parents which consisted of information about all the activities, seminars, programmes, placement services and more.
All the faculty members ensured that the PTM was interactive in order to be productive. Parents were encouraged to share their views, ask questions and give suggestions. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce and Science in association with NAAC, organised one-day NAAC-sponsored state-level seminar, Good Documentation Practice for NAAC Accreditation Process, on Saturday, 07th January, 2023.
The aim of the seminar is to familiarise the participants with the right documentation practices that comply with the standard guidelines of the NAAC Accreditation process. Good documentation practice is a key requisite to perform well in the NAAC accreditation process as per the latest guidelines laid down by the authorities.
The seminar has endeavoured to throw light on all the important aspects of the NAAC documentation process. It comprises the best practices, technical aspects and maintaining records efficiently.
The seminar, in collaboration with NAAC, was conducted in hybrid mode with a view to facilitating wider participation and sharing of knowledge.

Dr. Poonam Kakkad, IQAC and Program Coordinator, commenced the seminar with the welcome speech. Ms. Swiddle D’Cunha, I/C Principal, imparted the program introduction.
The Chief Guest of the seminar, Dr. Smita Shukla, Director, IQAC, at the University of Mumbai, was subsequently introduced by Dr. Poonam Kakkad. She addressed the participants with her valuable insights.
In her address, Dr. Smita Shukla spoke about the essence of NAAC accreditation and the significance of correct documentation process. She guided the audience by sharing key requirements for acing the NAAC accreditation and how one can attain it successfully.
Dr. Kakkad gave a Vote of Thanks and opened Session I of the seminar.
A panel of experienced resource persons provided highly effective, practical and workable tips on enhancing NAAAC documentation practices. Paper presentations were made in the course of the seminar.

Mr. Peeyush Pahade, IQAC Cluster (Guest), the first resource person, spoke on the topic ‘Effective Documentation’ for NAAC in the seminar.
He gave a spirited account of the importance of effective documentation for NAAC accreditation. He provided detailed directions along with actual format and notes about the exact procedure for making records for academic as well as co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
He got the participants to fill up details of their respective activities on the spot for maximum clarity and understanding.
Session II
Session II had the expert, Ms. Keyaa Mukherjee, in which she spoke on her topic, Office Automation.
She gave detailed guidance into the technical aspects of documenting records for NAAC accreditation. It included creating the website, SEO practices, accountable feedback system, security and making online all the tasks, including admission, examination and maintaining records of each student.
The insights were highly effective, practical and workable, relevant for every member contributing to NAAC accreditation process.
The experts further addressed a wide range of subjects and areas in their presentations, including adopting green practices in educational institutes.
The total number of participants who acquired knowledge about effective NAAC documentation practices in the seminar was 61.
Gaining insights into perfecting the procedures concerning all seven NAAC criteria were addressed ably by the speakers, taking into ambit crucial aspects like eco0friendly practices.

Report on "National Level Research Paper Presentation Competition" Organised by the Department of BMS in association with IQAC at Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce and Science on 27 February, 2023.
The theme for the research competition was Problems and Prospects in Functional Areas of Management with the following sub themes- Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Accounting and Finance, Banking and Insurance.
9 participants presented their paper and did justice with the theme.

The Department of BMS in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell conducted a National Level Quiz titled "Are you the Management Guru'' which was scheduled on Thursday, 23rd February, 2023. The quiz consisted of questions based on current events and general management theories. Approximately 20 students participated in the quiz.

The Research Cell in collaboration with Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India organized a One Day online webinar on *IPR Awareness*. The separate webinar was arranged for teachers and students. Around 120 teachers and 150 students joined in for the webinar. The sessions were organised on 19th November 2022. Both the sessions were highly appreciated by the audience.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell and the Department of B.Com (A & F) had organised a Three Day Certified Workshop on “Demystifying Financial Statement” scheduled on Tuesday, 20th, Wednesday, 21st and Thursday, 22nd December, 2022. The session was be conducted by Ms. Aayushi Punamiya and Ms. Yukti Gala.The workshop gave insights on reading, understanding and analyzing Financial Statements. A total of 80 students attended the program.
Title of the Course: Let’s Learn English
Objective of the course: To improve the written and verbal skills of the students.
Duration of the course: 30 Hrs.
Target audience: Students of first year BAF and BMS
Methodology: The resource person began the sessions with basic interaction, asking questions and having discussions on a variety of topics to gauge the knowledge of the students, followed by the content of the course. The content was delivered with the help of PPTs and OERs. Every session covered specific topics related to framing of sentences, free speech, vocabulary, public speaking among other things. After teaching the intended topic, Mr. Dinanth would then assess how much the students have understood by asking them to repeat what was discussed and asking questions on the same. He would correct and encourage them whenever they made a mistake. Course material was provided by the instructor at the end of the day. On alternate evenings, students would receive a call from the institute’s staff where they would converse on the topics learnt the previous day.
Outcome of the course: 76 students benefited from the course. Firstly, they developed the confidence to speak in public. Next, they were able to construct basic sentences where initially they would answer questions in one or two words. They also learnt how to present their thoughts in a clear manner. The students were able to improve their grammar and vocabulary as they got familiar with a lot of new words. The course also helped in the overall personality development of the students.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell in association with Women Development Cell organised a Self Defense Workshop at Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce and Science with an aim to create awareness regarding various perspectives of self-protection and give the confidence to deal with unfavourable scenarios.
Mr. Umesh Murkar is a Black Belt 6th Dan, International Gold Medalist and also an International Kick Boxing Referee.
The workshop was open to students from all programmes and also the teaching and non-teaching staff. Mr. Murkar, with the help of Miss Prapti Redkar (Wako National Gold Medalist), shared a variety of tips and tricks as to how one must defend themselves during an attack. Different scenarios were discussed and the students were asked to practice the moves individually as well as with partners. They were also taught a few attacking techniques while sir corrected them whenever necessary. Miss Redkar performed her routine after the session. A question-answer round was conducted at the end and students clarified their doubts.
Students enjoyed the event and expressed their enthusiasm about having more of such events.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the College organised a Six-Day Personality Development Camp for the First-Year students with the goal of fostering the holistic development of the students. The camp's main objective was to familiarize participants with the emerging ideas and trends on how to develop personality in the 21st century context. Each day of the camp gave hands-on training to students on various aspects to build their personality.

The library is rightly regarded as the heart of an academic institution. As a gateway to knowledge and culture, libraries play a fundamental role in developing the academic front of the institutions. Keeping this in mind the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college organised a National Level Webinar on “Best Practices of College Library” on Saturday, 17th September, 2022 from 11:30 am on the Zoom Platform. Resource Person was Dr Youd Vir Singh, presently heading the Library and Documentation Division of the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. Faculty members, College Librarians and Library staff members are invited to avail the benefits of the session.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell organised an educational session (seminar) on “Signs of Identification on Counseling Need for Students”. The session will took place on Tuesday, 30th August, 2022 from 12.30 pm in the mini auditorium.Guest speaker was Ms. Riddhi Doshi Patel, (our own inhouse counselor) who oversees the health, wellbeing and welfare of our college students.Teachers got insight from the session on how to recognise the signals that a student needs therapy. Additionally, the seminar offered advice on how to behave in front of pupils under various situations.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college in association with the Library Committee had organsied hands on training session on “The use of N-List”. The training session was scheduled on Saturday, 9th July, 2022 at 12.30 pm in the college Library, (8th Floor). Mr. Ravindra Pawar, the college librarian conducted the training session. A total of 22 Staff members attended the session and availed the benefit.

L. Dahanukar College of Commerce College. The program was instrumental in enriching the participants in various perspectives of research in social sciences so as to make them more critical and reflective of varied research aspects in writing research papers. The session also gave insights on the steps involved in the research process.A total of 28 staff members benefited from the session.
The department of BMS in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell organised a National Level Research Paper Presentation Competition on 30th March 2022. A total f 47 participants across the nation presented their papers online. The event was judged by Dr. Kuldeep Sharma, Research Guide, Chairman & Board of Studies in Trade Transportation and Industry at University of Mumbai

The Planning Forum and IQAC of our college organized a Webinar on the topic “Health Infrastructure Development an Important Social Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth” on Tuesday, 15th February, 2022 at 11.00 noon.A total of 132 participants comprising of students, teachers participated for the program.
The BMS Department , IQAC and Research Cell of the college organised Research Paper Presentation Competition on the theme “ Transformation and Challenges Post Covid - 19” A total of 48 participants comprising of students, teachers participated for the program.
Start up Club ( Incubation Centre) and Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the College in association with Mu Ideas Start- up Incubator University of Mumbai organised an event “Shark Tank to the Campus”The Business ideas were judge by - Mr Aadesh Suryarao, Chief Executive Officer at University of Mumbai's Start-up Incubation Centre .A Total of 41 students participated for the program.
The Department of B.Com ( A & F) in association with IQAC of the College organised a hands on Workshop " Live Mock Stock Trading" for the students Second and Third year class of BMS, BAF and B.Com .programs. Guest speaker was CA Mr. Dharin Shah a practicing Chartered AccountantParticipants got hands on experience and knowledge about stock market and share trading. The session consisted of learning concepts related to stock market and a competition of holding the highest of net value at the end of trading .

The Entrepreneurship Cell alongwith IQAC of the College organised an online workshop on perfume making. Ms. Almas Sharif, women entrepreneur and perfumer was invited to share her experience of making perfumes with students. Around 75 students actively participated in the workshop. Learning the art of Hand made perfumes encouraged students to think about starting up in ventures into Perfume making business.Around 75 students actively participated in the workshop.
The Incubation Center and IQAC of the College in association with Academy of Pastry and Culinary Art organised a National Level virtual workshop on Be an Entrepreneur - Learn the Art of Chocolate Making. The Guest Speaker was Chef. Tushar Pangarkar, showed a live demonstration of making chocolates and different varieties of toppings that can be added to make it taste delicious. All participants had a good take away from the workshop. Around 109 Participants from different states were part of this workshop. Participants were Teachers of different colleges, Students, Non teaching Staffs and other Professionals.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell organised a hands on Faculty Training Workshop titled "Brand ME- Make Your Mark on LinkedIn" Guest Speaker was Ms. Jinal Shah, Assistant Professor at NMIMS , School of Commerce. A total of 14 faculty members attended the workshop and gained insight into functioning of LinkedIn, benefits of LinkedIn and tips to build a network using LinkedIn.
The Department of B.Com ( A & F) and Internal Quality Assurance Cell in association with Bombay Stock Exchange Brokers Forum organised a National Level Webinar on " Overviews of Capital Market."Guest Speaker Dr Aditya Srinivas gave insights on the stock market and its functioning covering the capital market.
Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college organised a National Level Webinar on “ 5 Secrets of Quality Service Encounter in Educational Institutions” scheduled on Saturday, 12th February, 2022 All together 47 Registrars, 12 Superintendent and 121 Non Teaching Staff registered and attended the program. Over the period of time The Internal Quality Cell of the college experienced that the flagship of the college equally depends on the non-teaching staff who are actually the foundation and strong supporting pillars of any institution. The Service delivery at the administrative office speaks a thousand words about the care and concern the institution has for its stakeholders. As quoted by Mr. Ron Kaufman “Quality is more than a promise, it's genuine performance.”Keeping this in mind the program is organized specially for the non teaching staff of various colleges. The Resource Person for the session was a Personable Personality having talent to build images showing karisma. A Certified International Image Consultant, who also happens to be a Parent of a BMS student of our college . Being one of the stakeholders of the College madam has been a great support in the continuous development of the institution. Participants had a good take away of 5 Secrets from the session.
Internal Quality Assurance Cell and the Wellness Centre of the College in association with iCARE Holy Family Hospital organised a webinar on "Awareness and Training on Sudden Cardiac Arrest Resuscitation". Eminent speaker Sumaiya Raghavan, a qualified trainer on first aid heart saving. The program gave insights on recognising cardiac arrest, learning on how to perform CPR and use of AED ( shock machine).The session was attended by Teaching and Non teaching staff members, students and Parents.
