Small Steps Make a Big Wave!
The NSS Unit organized a MEGA BEACH CLEAN-UP DRIVE under Swachh Vasundhara Abhiyan and Swachhata Hi Seva in collaboration with the University of Mumbai on Saturday, 26th September 2026 from 07:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Carter Road Beach, Bandra (W) under the theme Swachh Sagar-Nirmal Sagar.The drive witnessed overwhelming participation of 1,984 NSS Volunteers from 61 Colleges across Mumbai. With great enthusiasm and team spirit, volunteers collected approximately 3.5 tonnes of plastic and thermocol waste, contributing to a cleaner and greener coastline.Distinguished Guests Present: were IPS Officer Shri Krishna Prakash, Additional Director General of Police, Ms. Shital Nagrale, RFO, State Forest Department and Mr. Dinesh Pallewad, AMC, MCGM.
