The Department of BAMMC organised an Alumnus Talk session titled ‘Storytelling in Documentaries: Crafting Compelling Narratives’

The Guest Speaker was Mr. Vatsal Nathvani, a notable Alumnus of our college. He is a Director and Writer of feature documentary films like Gandhi: The Untold Story, Doctor in Me and many more. He is also a Chief Editor of India’s vegan magazine ‘Compassion India: Health Transformations Resources’

The seminar brought together filmmakers, scholars, and enthusiasts to delve into the art and science of documentary storytelling. The talk concluded with an open forum where attendees could ask questions and share their experiences. Attendees praised the seminar for its comprehensive coverage and interactive sessions. The event provided valuable insights and practical knowledge, inspiring participants to continue exploring the art of documentary storytelling.

57 students from First Year, Second Year and Third Year were a part of the informative session.

Outcome: Attendees left with a deeper understanding of the essential skills and strategies needed to excel in these fields and a sense of inspiration from Mr. Vatsal Nathvani’s remarkable journey.
