The Department of BAMMC organised a seminar as part of the curriculum for the subject Introduction to Cultural Activities on Friday, 19th September, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the college auditorium.

The session was conducted by eminent speaker Ms. Sumaiya Raghavan, a qualified trainer in first aid and heart-saving practices. The seminar aimed to create awareness and provide training on handling medical emergencies. Students gained practical insights into recognising cardiac arrest, performing CPR, and using an AED (shock machine). The session also covered essential guidance on managing epilepsy, choking, and other emergency situations.

The seminar proved to be highly beneficial in equipping students with vital life-saving knowledge and skills. An E-Certificate was provided to participants, which served as proof of assignment completion.

Overall, the seminar was informative, interactive, and empowering, enabling learners to build confidence in responding effectively to medical emergencies.
