The event saw an enthusiastic participation of 160+ students from Second and Third Year B.Com (A&F). It served as a highly informative platform to explore the pathway to becoming a Chartered Accountant, understand the structure of the CA course, and gain insights into the career prospects and future scope of the CA profession in India and globally.

The session focused on:

  • Step-by-step explanation of the CA course journey (from Foundation to Final level)
  • Eligibility, registration timelines, and study strategies
  • Opportunities post-qualification including employment, practice, industry roles, and global mobility
  • Evolving role of Chartered Accountants in a digital and data-driven economy
  • Industry demand and growth potential of CAs in emerging sectors such as FinTech, ESG auditing, forensic accounting, and consultancy

Students also had the unique opportunity to visit the Accounting Museum, where they observed the historical evolution of accounting practices and ICAI's contributions to the profession.

The resource persons at ICAI provided clarity, motivation, and direction to the students. They shared success stories and answered career-related queries, helping students visualize a realistic and aspirational future in accounting and finance.
