The Department of B.Com (A & F) organised an Educational Visit to RBI Monetary Museum on Friday, 25th August, 2023 for the students of First Year B.Com (A & F) students.

The students toured the museum and observed the rare and historical currency notes, coins and artifacts on display. They read about the evolution of money, starting from the barter system of ancient times to the current electronic money. Students also got an opportunity to see the tools and equipment that were used to mint coins and gold bars. There was also an exhibit of the various financial instruments.

The visit ended with a video on the history of RBI and money. A total of 56 students participated in the visit and benefitted from it.
