The Department organised a Movie Screening as part of the external assessment for the subject Environmental System and Management – II on Wednesday, 7th January, 2026 at 11:00 am in the Mini Auditorium (Block No. 706).
The screening aimed to spark dialogue, raise awareness, and inspire action among young minds regarding environmental challenges and sustainable practices. The film presented thought-provoking insights on creating awareness about the global and Indian water crisis, highlight causes such as climate change, over-extraction, pollution, and mismanagement encourage responsible water usage and conservation practices,sensitize students and participants towards sustainable water management.
The session successfully engaged students, encouraging them to reflect on the importance of environmental consciousness in daily life. It provided a meaningful learning experience by connecting classroom knowledge with real-world concerns.
The movie presented real-life examples of water scarcity affecting rural and urban areas, farmers, women, and children, and emphasized the urgent need for conservation.
Overall, the movie screening was informative and impactful, motivating learners to think critically about environmental issues and their responsibility towards society.
