The Department of Commerce organised an insightful online session for the First Year B.Com students on “Business in the New Age: Strategies for Sustainable Success” on Monday, 21st September 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The session was addressed by Dr. B. R. Kumar, Director and Professor of MBA at Andhra Loyola College who shared valuable insights into the evolving business environment and the importance of adopting sustainable business practices. The speaker highlighted various strategies employed by contemporary entrepreneurs to achieve long-term business growth while ensuring environmental responsibility, social well-being, and economic sustainability. The session also helped students understand how businesses can integrate innovation, ethical practices, resource conservation, and responsible decision-making into their operations. Around 60 students benefited from the session, gaining a broader understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by entrepreneurs in the modern business landscape.
