Jazba, a beautiful word that mesmerises one and all, means passion. It also resounds with fervour and also has a hint of poise and elegance. Jazba sums up everything that we at Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce and Science identify with as we put up this grand event every year. It is the greatest pleasure to reach out to the BAMMC fraternity in multiple colleges and invite them to our campus where they can showcase their skills, win prizes and broaden their horizons.

As always, this year too we thought of doing something different with Jazba. The objective has always been to give young minds who come to our college an opportunity to experience something elevating. This year, we went a step ahead and took a leap into the unknown. We decided to host an international film festival that creates prospects for BAMMC students to see cinema from diverse regions closely and enrich their outlook towards their field and life itself..

We took on the challenge, and with kind approval and encouragement from our college Management and authorities, started the process of organising it. Our students put their heart and soul in every aspect that led to successful implementation of the event.

We have received 50 films as official entries in Jazba international short film festival. It includes around 10 International entries - from UK, America and, another from our very own neighbour Pakistan!

Organising an international short film festival has indeed been an overwhelming experience- one that taught us life lessons . Our students put in efforts day and night. They brainstormed, planned and implemented everything that has made Jazba 2024 a resounding success. They have stated that organising Jazba this year has opened new vistas for them, made them confident that they have the capability to take up challenges and make things happen. We wished to give them opportunities that catapult their learning curve and equip them with the skills they need to excel in their field.
