The Department of Information Technology, Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce & Science (Autonomous), organized an Orientation Programme for S.Y.B.Sc.IT students in June 2026 to familiarize them with the academic and administrative aspects of the college.The programme included an introduction to the department and faculty, course curriculum, credit structure, examination pattern, attendance requirements, and academic expectations. Students were also informed about co-curricular activities, technical events, workshops, internships, research opportunities, certifications, and departmental clubs.The session emphasized discipline, punctuality, professional conduct, college rules, student support services, grievance redressal, and anti-ragging measures. Guidance was also provided on career development, higher education, industry expectations, and emerging technologies. Students actively participated and their queries were addressed.The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and was successfully conducted under the guidance of Ms. Vaishali Mishra, Co-ordinator, B.Sc.IT.
