The Department of B.Sc. Information Technology of Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce and Science successfully organized an Alumni Expert Session on 23rd February 2026 for T.Y. B.Sc. IT (Semester VI) students. The session was conducted on Monday at 11:00 AM in Block No. 607 through online mode. The event aimed to strengthen students’ knowledge in Data Structures and Algorithms while providing guidance on competitive programming and career development.
The expert speaker for the session was Mr. Shivam Vishwakarma, a proud alumnus of the institution and a mentor at CodeChef. Being an expert in DSA and competitive programming, he shared valuable insights on mastering core concepts of data structures and algorithms, problem-solving approaches, and effective coding strategies. His session helped students understand the importance of logical thinking, coding efficiency, and regular practice in becoming successful programmers.
During the session, students also received expert career guidance and had the opportunity to interact with an industry mentor.
