The  Department of BAMMC has organised an online seminar titled "Beyond the Headlines: Mastering the Art of Reporting"

The Guest Speaker was  Dr. Sudipta Roy Chowdhary, a media professional who has worked with news organisations like P.T.I, Bartaman, A.I.R, and many more. The seminar featured discussions on the rise of online platforms, the challenges of maintaining journalistic integrity in the digital age, and emerging trends such as data journalism and multimedia storytelling.

The seminar highlighted the need for journalists to balance speed and accuracy in the digital age. While digital platforms offer unprecedented opportunities for reaching audiences, they also present challenges such as the spread of misinformation and the pressure to generate click-worthy content.

37 students from First Year, Second Year and Third Year were a part of the informative session.

Outcome : The seminar provided valuable insights into the evolving field of digital journalism. Key themes included the historical shift to digital media, the challenges of maintaining journalistic integrity, and the opportunities presented by data and multimedia tools.
