The Department of B.Com (Management Studies) and B.Com (Accounting & Finance) organised a seminar on “Intricacies and Nuances in NSS” on Tuesday, 11th August 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the College Auditorium.The seminar was conducted as part of the External Assessment for the Co-curricular Course – NSS for First Year B.Com (MS) & B.Com (A&F) students.The session was conducted by Mr. Rishabh Rajan Desai, Assistant Professor and NSS Programme Officer, who served as the Guest Speaker. With his extensive experience and association with NSS, he provided students with valuable insights into the objectives, values, activities and responsibilities associated with the National Service Scheme (NSS).The seminar focused on the importance of community service, social responsibility, leadership, teamwork and personality development. Mr. Desai explained how NSS provides students with opportunities to engage with society, understand community needs and develop essential life skills through active participation in various service-oriented activities.The seminar successfully achieved its objective of creating awareness about NSS and inspiring students to become responsible, socially aware and active citizens. A total of 163 Students attended the session.
