The Department of BAMMC successfully organised TEDx NMFC on 10th December, 2025 with the objective of providing a dynamic platform for sharing ideas, experiences, and perspectives that inspire innovation and positive change. The event was held in the Mini-auditorium and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and invited guests, making it a truly enriching academic and cultural experience.
The event commenced with the arrival and seating of dignitaries, followed by a formal inaugural ceremony hosted by Assistant Professor, Ms. Michelle Menezes. The welcome address set the tone for the day, highlighting the essence of TEDx and its relevance in nurturing creative thinking and meaningful dialogue. It was followed by a “Making of TEDx NMFC” video and felicitation of dignitaries with handmade bouquets made by the students.
The inaugural session featured addresses by the I/C Principal, Dr. Swiddle D’Cunha, BAMMC Co-ordinator and TEDx NMFC Organiser, Ms. Bhavana Singh, and the TEDx Curator, Mr. Navel Nazareth, each emphasizing the importance of ideas, storytelling, and youth-led initiatives. The dignitaries appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee and encouraged students to actively engage with the ideas shared during the event. The ceremony concluded with the official declaration of TEDx NMFC Open by the Principal and Vice-Principal and a Vote of Thanks extended by Dr. Poonam Kakkad, marking the formal commencement of the TEDx sessions.

Overall, TEDx NMFC served as a powerful platform for learning, reflection, and innovation, leaving a lasting impression on all participants. A total of 40 BAMMC students attended the sessions and benefitted from it.
