The Research Cell, in association with Vivek College of Commerce, successfully organized a National Level Webinar on Research Methodology titled “From Curiosity to Contribution: The Story of Meaningful Research” on Saturday, 19th July 2025.
The keynote speaker for the session was Prof. Sasmita Palo, an esteemed Professor at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. Prof. Palo shared invaluable insights on the importance of a well-defined research methodology and highlighted the role of curiosity and critical thinking in conducting impactful research.
The event witnessed an enthusiastic response, with 308 registrations and an impressive turnout of 272 participants from across India, including states such as Maharashtra, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, and Chhattisgarh.
The objective of the webinar was to deepen participants’ understanding of research practices, from formulating a research problem to contributing to the academic and professional community The session was well-received and inspired both budding and experienced researchers alike.
