The Planning Forum and IQAC organised a National Level Online One Day Webinar for faculties on the topic “INSIGHTS ON NEW NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY OF INDIA ” on Wednesday, 15th March, 2023 at 11am on Google meet platform.The session will be conducted by: Dr. S. Sankar (Advisor - IQAC Cluster)Almost 149 participants attended the session. It was a very learning experience for all. The speaker gave an insight of the current situation of education and new changes made by the government. E certificate was given to all registered participants. The session was initiated by introduction of the speaker, Dr. S. Sankar (Advisor - IQAC Cluster) and then taken over by the resource person. The Department of Economics (Planning Forum) and the IQAC organized a National Level Online Faculty Development Programme titled “A Roadmap to 5 Trillion Economy in 2025” with an aim to upgrade the teaching, training and research skills of economics teachers - especially those teachers who have not had an opportunity to acquaint themselves with recent developments in teaching.
The resource persons were mainly teaching faculties in reputed institutions and experts in their respective fields. The topics of the FDP ranged from Primary Sector, tertiary sector and their Potential, EXIM Policy, Sustainable Development Strategy, Monetary Policy, etc. which are very relevant to the current scenario. There was a Question-Answer round after each session and the participants enthusiastically asked their doubts. The response to the FDP was overwhelming and the participants attended from all over the country including states like Rajasthan, Gujarat, U.P, M.P, Delhi, etc.

HEALTH INSTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT AN IMP SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE FOR INCLUDING GROWTH
The Planning Forum had organized an online webinar in association with Bombay Stock Exchange on Investment Awareness among Students on Saturday, 17th July, 2021 at 3:30 pm on Zoom platform. The Guest Speaker was Prof. Amogh Ghotoskar, having 11 year experience in Corporate and associated with many NGOs and Trusts, conducted 500 + seminars in financial planning in associated with Bombay Stock Exchange.Almost 75 participants attended the session. It was a very learning
experience for all. The speaker gave an insight of the current situation on the economy and how to overcome from the deficit financing by planning early investment. E certificate was given to all registered participants. The session was initiated by introduction of the speaker, Prof. Amogh Ghotoskar and then taken over by the resource person. It was an overwhelming experience for all the participants.
Planning Forum and Department of Economics of Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce and Science organized an Inter Collegiate Elocution Competition on Tuesday, 10th November, 2020 at 5pm through Google Meet. Almost 45 students participated in the competition from various colleges and made the competition more intriguing with their speaking skills and knowledge. Dr. Jyotsna Haran, (Retired Professor of Economics, from Royal College , Mira Road) was the honourable judge for the competition while Mr. Harsh Munjani (Student Secretary), Mr.Vaibhav Agrawal (Joint Secretary) and Ms. Krishna Vora (Student Member) of Planning Forum hosted the event gracefully.The competition was full of enthusiastic participants and their amusing elocution speeches were the star of the show.The competition went on for 3 hours of great idea sharing and communicating on the topics selected by the participants.The announcement of result is done by the judge, Dr. Jyotsna Haran on Google Meet conference site and the event was a success.

Planning Forum and Students Representatives Committee had jointly organized a Mock Parliament – Budget 2019 in Mini Auditorium on Saturday, 10th August, 2019 at 11.30 am. The Speaker cum Judge was Prof. S.B. Patil (Mentor of IT and CS Department).20 candidates participated in the event. Various topics were given to students with for and against point of views.Winners of The Event are as follows:

Certificates were distributed to the winners and to other participants as well. It was an overwhelming experience for all the participants.
Planning Forum of our college in association with Rotary Club had organised a Seminar on Budget
Vishleshan - 2019 on Saturday, 13 th July 2019 at 11.30 am onwards in auditorium.
The session started with the National Anthem. Some information was given about rotary club. After all
the formalities, the session began with the seminar on Budget.
The Guest speaker was CA. Subhas Kedia. The session was very informative and brainstorming. Almost
480 students had participated in this seminar. Question answer round were very interesting.
Students were keener to attend this kind of seminar in future.
