Vibrant Gujarat!
The Gujarati Association organised Aarti Thali, Salad Decoration and Garba competitions on Saturday, 28th September 2024. Students from all programmes participated in the competitions with enthusiasm. The judge for Aarti thali and Salad decoration was Mrs. Asmita Dabholkar, Fine Arts specialist and judge for the Garba competition, was Ms. Janvi Jagda, Freelance Garba Trainer. There were 115 participants in the Garba competition, 9 participants in Aarti thali decoration and 3 participants in the Salad decoration competition. The objective was to promote the vibrant culture of Gujarat and create a feel of the festive season.

Ae Hallo Garba Ramva!
The Gujarati Association organized “Garba Raas” on Saturday, 7th October 2023 in Nirmala Hall. The event's objective was to show India’s unity in diversity and worshiping all nine forms of Mother Goddesses. Garba Raas's moves were accompanied by live acoustic arrangements and amplified music systems. Along with the Garba Raas, Department of Life Long Learning (DLLE) students had put up 2 eatery stalls to refresh the students during the event. To motivate the students, the best garba performer and best garba costume prizes were given to the participants. 378 students enthusiastically participated in this event.

Glimpse of Culture!
The Aarti Thali Decoration and Types of Embroidery Stitches Competition was organized on Wednesday, 13th September 2023 to instill art and imagination among the students. 43 students participated in Aarti thali decoration and 8 students participated in different types of embroidery stitches competition. The judges for the event were Ms. Sonal Dave and Ms. Rutu Desai.

Gujarati Association celebrated ‘Matrubhasa Vandan’ for promotion and preservation of Gujarati language among the students along with Bandhani -Lehariya and Kurta Pyjama day on Monday, 17th February, 2020.
Student turned up in great numbers wearing bandhani -lehariya and kurta pyjama.
Student also performed Singing, Speech, Bhajan, Garba, Poetry etc in Gujarati to show their love towards their mother tongue Gujarati.
The Gujarati Association had organized an inter-collegiate event “Master-chef -- Rasoi Ni Rangat” on Tuesday, 05th February, 2019.
The event was monitored in the presence of esteemed judges. We had called Chef. Sushant Parab from Hyatt Regency and Mrs. Indrani Sen Recipe developer blogger and Home baker to evaluate all the dishes.
Students from various colleges had participated in the event. There were 30 groups who participated in the event out of which 3 groups were from other college. Each group had maximum 2 participants.

Students were given duration of 30 minutes to prepare, cook and decorate their dishes.
Certificate and trophy was given to the winners.
Gujarati Association organised Shangar Spardha, its very first event for the Academic Year 2018- 19 with full gaiety and splendour on 28 th september 2018
Students and teachers upheld the colourful spirit of the occasion by turning up in vibrant Baandhani and Leheriya attire as well as other traditional Gujarati wear.
A number of exciting competitions like Arti thali Decoration, Diya Decoration, Toran Making, Garbo Decoration and Dandiya Decoration
were also organised in which students were given an opportunity to depict the beauty of Gujarati art and culture. Several students from across programmes came forward and participated in the competitions, which added to the beauty of the occasion.
