Objectives

The College Library is more than physical premises that houses books and offers space for reading and browsing. It is a focal point of learning, enrichment and new discoveries that go beyond reading. The library of our institution, a well-equipped, bright and sprawling part of our college, aims to inculcate all-round development of all Nirmalites- learners and Faculty members alike.

 A number of proactive, enthusiastic measures that it takes to meet all aspects of educational needs and more are as under: 

• To support all educational and instructional endeavours of the college: 

Our College Library has always made it a point to go the distance to expand the horizons of all those who visit it. It caters to not just reading, borrowing and lending of books but also empowers them to acquire knowledge in every way it can. Apart from the requisite facilities, the College Library organises a number of activities, competitions, workshops and more, and apprises the users of the latest updates, facilities and technologies like use of e-library being followed today.

•    To instil a habit of extensive and advanced learning beyond text books and syllabus

Every effort is made by our Institute to encourage the learners to see beyond the visible and grow. Learners are encouraged to develop a perception that envisions development in every sphere. They can avail of valuable guidance, support and opportunities to realise their aim, including with the use of sophisticated technology. 

•   To enhance the understanding of different subjects and disciplines among the students

The institution organises various programs, seminars, webinars, contests and that open up new avenues of knowledge for the learners. It helps them gain proficiency in diverse subjects and disciplines so that they develop the confidence to excel in all walks of life. 

•   To mould the students as intelligent and enlightened individuals to become responsible citizens

A library must ensure that its patrons don’t acquire just bookish knowledge and rest easy. In kee3ping with this maxim, our College Library takes all steps to nurture the learners to make them knowledgeable, informed and broad-minded individuals. A host of causes that the college is committed to finds a voice in the College Library in various ways. The library updates itself with the latest practices and takes proactive steps to implement them promptly.

•    To assist with the research work and offer initiative for research work to students

Academics is not only about learning subjects, giving exams and passing. Research is evolving as a core part of teaching. The institution is committed to inculcating a temper of research among learners as well as faculties.  Learners are regularly communicated about the latest developments in research, and are encouraged to undertake research activities.

•    To update the teacher about the latest developments in their respective subject areas

Teachers are also provided with several platforms to not just hone their subject-related knowledge but also learn about the happenings that touch the, in some days.
Teachers are provided with training and education as per the latest trends.
